SPACE ADVENTURE
It was late at night and I could not sleep. I was sitting at my window looking up at all the beautiful stars in the sky. It was a full moon and I wondered what it would be like to fly to the moon. Then all of a sudden I saw a shooting star flying across the dark night sky, I quickly closed my eyes to made a wish. With my eyes closed tightly I wished as hard as I could that I could be an astronaut ready to fly to the moon.
As I sat and wondered what it would be like to stand on the moon the sky started to change colours. It was a light show of beautiful pretty colours like a rainbow flying across the black sky. As I watched the wonderful colours in disbelief a large sun appeared right before me. It started to pull me towards it and I was rising off the ground, floating towards the bright warm light.
As I got closer I saw what it was taking me to a space ship! Wow my wish was coming true, I could not believe it! There I was standing next to this little space ship. The top opened up and I could see a monitor, it said "if you want to go to the moon jump in". This was my chance, I got inside and this funny voice came from nowhere, it was telling me to put on my seatbelt, I looked around but could not see anyone.
It was then that I looked back at the monitor and saw what I thought to be an alien. The little creature told me his name was Zonkie and he would take me to the moon! All I had to do was follow his instructions and he would have me back home before morning.
I buckled up my seat belt and followed his every word, I was pushing this button and that and before I new it I was flying though the sky heading straight toward the moon, zooming past plants and comets

I could see the moon getting closer and closer, I was nearly there! I was so excited I was jumping out of my skin. It was then I noticed I was wearing a space suit, Zonkie said it was the only way I could safely walk on the moon. I landed the space ship slowly and carefully, I wanted to get out as fast as I could, I could not believe I was about to walk on the moon!
The top of the space ship opened and I hopped out, there I was standing on the moon, so happy and full of joy, I started doing somersaults!
I walked and jumped here and there and filled my pockets with moon dust to take home to show Mum and Dad. Before long Zonkie called me back to the space ship, it was time to go. The next thing I remember is waking up in the morning wondering if it was a dream or did I really stand on the moon.
It was then I remembered filling my pockets with moon dust, I reached in and pulled out a handful of sparkling dust it was real I did visit the moon with my friend Zonkie!!
